World of Asphalt 2025 was a huge success for BioSpan, and as we catch our breath, we’re reflecting on the impact of this year’s show.
With the event in our backyard, we had the chance to connect with our U.S. partners, meet hundreds of new potential applicators and distributors, and showcase why BioSpan is part of a winning team in the industry.
One of the highlights? The overwhelming media interest in our sustainable pavement solutions—so much so that we coined a new term: Botox for Pavement. Because just like the real thing, our products restore, preserve, and extend the life of pavement, keeping infrastructure looking and performing its best.
We also received total validation of a timely shift in our messaging. The new emphasis on government efficiency that dominates the zeitgeist is something we are elbowing into. Our eco-friendly solutions increase the ROI of taxpayer spending on infrastructure. There isn’t a DOT or public works department that isn’t paying attention to this.
Beyond the booth, we had a blast meeting great people at industry events and parties (networking never looked so fun). But what really stood out this year was the shift in the industry. Technology is advancing at lightning speed, and with the rise of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), sustainability is no longer a nice-to-have—it’s a must. The conversations we had confirmed that more companies are actively looking for bio-based, high-performance solutions, and we’re ready to meet that demand.
Of course, no asphalt show is complete without the big toys. The heavy equipment on display was impressive as always, but our favorite demo was our own. The BioSpan team shared our trifecta pothole cure multiple times a day, showing how our solutions work together to make long-term repairs more efficient and sustainable.
